City Police arrested 58 year old Nick Pears of Carufel Ave. on an outstanding warrant for theft under $5000 from an incident which occurred in June of 2015 where it was alleged he stole a video tablet. During his arrest, a small amount of Heroin was located and he was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on February 8.
Overnight a residence in the 1000 block of Queen Street East was broken into. It is unclear at this time what was stolen.
