Males Aressted In Connection With Break & Enter On Saturday evening at approx. 10:45 PM City Police arrested three males. It is alleged that the three were involved in a break and enter to a residence on Wilcox Ave.
Males Aressted In Connection With Break & Enter

On Saturday evening at approx. 10:45 PM City Police arrested three males. It is alleged that the three were involved in a break and enter to a residence on Wilcox Ave. Upon arrested the accused police found some of the property reported stolen from the break–in on their persons. Charged are:

1. JACOB Ronald Burch, age 18, of 123 Johnson Ave., Apt #3. Mr. Burch is charged with Break and Enter and two counts of Breach of Probation.

2. William Joseph Shubrook, age 21, of 45 Railroad Ave. Mr. Shubrook is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Break and Enter.

3. Joseph Allen Cress, age 19, of 874 Queen St.E. Apt. # 2. Mr. Cress is charged with Break and Enter, Breach of an Undertaking, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

All three accused will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.

Impaired Driver

On Saturday evening at approx. 10:55 PM City Police stopped a vehicle on Second Line E. It is alleged that the driver of the vehicle was operating it in an erratic manner. Upon speaking to the driver the officers noticed that he was under the influence of alcohol. The accused Donald Clifford Errington, age 34, of 1506 Peoples Rd. was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80mgs. He will be appearing in court on Monday Aug. 21st at 9:00 AM.

Threatening Phone Call

Yesterday afternoon City Police attended at a west end address and arrested a 52-year-old male and charged him with Threatening. It is alleged that the accused made a threatening phone to a female person known to him. The threat is alleged to have been made on Friday July 14th. The accused will be appearing in Bail Court to day at 10:00 AM.

Assault

Yesterday afternoon at approx. 4:30 PM City Police arrested a 38 year old male and charged him with assault. It is alleged that the accused did assault a female known to him by grabbing her by the throat. The victim did not require medical attention due to the assault. The accused will be appearing in Court on Monday Aug 21st at 9:00 AM.

Break & Enters

The following break and enters were reported yesterday:

1. Thieves broke into a residence in the 100 block of Ford St. by forcing a bedroom screen window. Electronic equipment was stolen.

2. A garage was entered in the 500 block of Wilson St. Nothing was reported stolen at this time but the culprits did commit some mischief to the garage.

3. There was an attempted break and enter to an apartment in the 300 block of Dacey Rd. The suspected, in attempting to gain entry, broke a window and cut themselves. A male person was taken, by ambulance from the area. City Police are continuing their investigation at this time.

4. A residence in the 700 block of Pine St. was entered. It is believed that the culprits entered via an unlocked front door. Stolen was a small amount of cash and a Kodak camera.

P-Patch Vandalized

The P-Patch area was vandalized over the weekend. City Police took reports of mischief from a residence in the 100 block of Promenade Dr., the 100 block of Pentagon Blvd. and the 100 block of Paradise Ave. At these locations car tires and window were damage. Ben R. McMullen School was also the victim of several windows being broken.

Vehicle Theft

City Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle over the weekend. Stolen was a 1975 Mercury Cougar XR7. The vehicle is canary yellow with a white top.
