A converted black Norco E-Bike was reported stolen from the 300 block of Dacey Rd. this afternoon. A garage in the south end of Elmwood Ave. was broken into last night. Alcohol, food, clothing and a radio were reported stolen.

Sometime between July 16 and July 18, a garage in the 100 block of Trelawne Avenue was broken into. Nothing appears to have been taken.

Sometime between July 15 and July 18 there was an attempt break and enter to a garage in the 100 block of Wilcox Avenue.

On the 18th of July city police attended in the 500 block of Pine Street for a break and enter. Sometime during the daytime hours the residence was entered. Items taken include an Ipad, a Nikon Camera, a Dell laptop, a Sony Play Station as well as cash.

On the 18th of July city police attended in the 500 block of Pine Street for a second break and enter. The break in occurred between the July 17 in the evening hours and the daytime hours of the 18th. Cash, including loonies and toonies were taken.

At 6:16 p.m. city police arrested 34-year-old Cortney Mitchell of Wellington Street East for breach of undertaking. The accused was found to have been drinking alcohol when she was on conditions not to. She will be appearing in court on August 24, 2015.

At 10:53 p.m. on July 19, 2015, city police arrested and charged 29-year-old Justin Whalen of Kingsford road for rbeak and enter. Police received a call earlier regarding a male that was observed breaking into a residence on McNabb Street. A subsequent investigation led officers to the accused and he was apprehended a short time later in the area. Whalen will be appearing in court on August 24, 2015.

At 7:10 p.m. city police received a report of a single motor vehicle accident on Second Line West near Dean Road in Prince Township. The investigation revealed that the driver lost control of his vehicle and went off the road. There were four occupants and one was transported to Sault Area Hospital with minor injuries. Speed appears to have been a factor. The vehicle received severe damage. The driver, 19-year-old Coty Anderson-Vienneau was charged with careless operation.
