20 year old Peter Armstrong of Wellington Street East will appear in bail court again tomorrow after assaulting an officer in the courthouse cell block today. On the 10th of June, 2013 at about 1:15, Peter Armstrong, who was in custody appearing for bail court, assaulted an officer when he was being moved back to a cell. The officer received minor injuries.

A vehicle was stolen from Lawson Avenue overnight. Stolen was a 2005 F 150 Ford Pickup Truck, white in colour – LICENCE 8568ZD.

On June 9, 2013 at approximately 11:30 pm police responded to a domestic incident. It was found that the accused, age 23 had attended at his ex-girl friends and a physical altercation ensued. The accused left the scene but was later located in the 100 block of Allard Street. The accused was arrest for assault and will appear in court on July 17, 2013 at 9:30 am.

On June 9, 2013 at approximately 5:24 pm the accused Alvin Medahbie, age 37 of 21 Cathcart Street, apartment # 2, was operating a 1992 Ford pickup truck on McNabb Street and collided with a vehicle that had stopped for a red light. The accused was found to be in an intoxicated state and was arrested for impaired driving. Further investigation was done and it was found that the accused had consumed over the legal limit. The accused will appear in court on July 15, 2013 at 9:00am to answer to the charges.
