Investigation into Break and Enter
City Police are investigating a Break and Enter that took place to a residence in the 200 block of Selby Rd. Stolen in the Break-In was a satellite receiver.
Motor Vechicle Collision
At approx. 2:35 Am this morning City Police were called to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Wallace Terr. and Patrick St. Upon arrival the officers observed a grey 1991 Mercury laying on it’s roof. When speaking with the driver of the vehicle the officers detected alcohol on his breathe. As a result he was arrested for Impaired Driving and taken to the station for a Breathalyzer. Charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Over .80mgs is Jeffery Tarras, D.O.B.: 05 April 1981, of 140 Sutton Pl. He will be appearing in court on Monday April 18th at 9:00 AM.
Male Charged with Assault
At approx. 11:00 PM last night police were called to an address in the west end in regards to an assault. Upon their arrival the complainant informed the officers that a male known to her assaulted her. The accused is also alleged to have been unlawfully the residence. A 35-year-old male is charged with Assault and Unlawfully in a Dwelling. He will be attending Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.
Impaired Driving Charges Laid
At approx. 8:20 PM last night City Police stopped a vehicle on Terry Fox Pl. upon stopping the vehicle the driver fled from the car. Officers gave chase and apprehended the male. Investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation showed that the licence plates on the vehicle were stolen. Charged with Impaired Driving, Driver Over .80mgs, Possession of Stolen Property as well as Possession of a Narcotic is Richard Raymo, D.O.B.: 04 Mar 1982, of 23 Terry Fox Pl. Apt. 207. A passenger in the vehicle, Kevin Bennett, D.O.B.: 12 Nov 1980, of 175 South Market St., was jointly charged with Mr. Raymo for Possession of Stolen Property. Both accused will be appearing in court on Mon.
Break and Enter
On Sunday March 13th at approx. 12:30 AM an employee of the Pee Wee Arena arrested two males for breaking into an office at the arena. One of the accused was also found in possession of a surveillance camera from the Pee Wee Arena. The two accused, one adult and one young person will be appearing in Bail Court today at 10:00 AM.
