City police are continuing their targeted enforcement of Ontario’s traffic laws regarding the use of hand held communication and entertainment devices.

On March 21, 2016 city police conducted targeted enforcement in a variety of locations within the City. 

As a result, three persons were charged in relation to using or holding a cell phone while operating a vehicle.

The enforcement initiative will be continuing for the month and Police are reminding motorists to abide by the laws governing their use.
