A 41-year-old male will appear in bail court today charged with break and enter and 3 counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 10th of May the accused broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house through a window.

A 41-year-old male will appear in bail court today charged with break and enter and 3 counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on the 10th of May the accused broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house through a window. The accused was also on probation to keep the peace, not to communicate with the victim and not to attend her residence. The victim was not injured in the incident and the male fled the scene before police arrived. He was located by patrol officers on May 11 and arrested.

On May 11 a break and enter was reported to a residence on Glasgow Avenue. It is unknown what was taken at this time.

On the 9th of May a black recumbent bike was reported stolen from the downtown area.

Thefts from vehicles took place over the weekend from Killarney Road,Terrance Avenue, Cedarwood Drive, Turner Avenue and Wallace Terrace. Items taken include change, gift cards, an Ipad and an Ipod touch.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to remind citizens not to leave items of value in their vehicles. If you see someone suspicious around vehicles, call the police to report it.
