Afternoon release:
On the morning of May 6th thieves broke into a garage in the 100 block of Willow Ave. Thieves entered the garage and removed a small quantity of money from a vehicle parked in the garage.

On May 6th at 1:08 pm Police Officers arrested Jason Lee Hampleman, age 19, of 4 Vera Ave. Sault Ste. Marie on the strength of a warrant for Breach of Recognizance. In addition officers charged him with Breaching his Probation Order. He will appear in court on June 3rd.
Morning release:
A 40 year old male was arrested by City Police Officers early last evening and charged with 2 counts of assault, 2 counts of mischief, break and enter and a breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused broke into an ex girlfriend’s residence and assaulted her. The female then locked herself in the bathroom and the accused punched a hole in the bathroom door. He then left and returned a short time later and assaulted her again. He also did damage to another door in the residence approximately 5 weeks ago. The accused was also on a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He will be appearing in Bail Court later on this morning.

38 year old Mandy Lee Klages of 95 Goulais Ave. #1 was arrested early yesterday evening at her residence. She was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a theft in December and then failing to attend court. Another warrant alleged she stole some running shoes from Sears in April. Co-accused Mark Nedeau was arrested earlier in the day on the same charges. Both will be appearing in Bail Court later this morning.

City Police Officers arrested a 37 year old male early Monday morning and charged him with sexual assault. It is alleged the female victim had gone to bed alone and when she woke up she found the accused next to her touching her inappropriately. The accused male will be appearing in Provincial Court on June 10th.

A 21 year old male was arrested early this morning for assault and breach of probation. It is alleged that he assaulted an ex girlfriend on May 3rd by punching her in the head and face area several times. The accused was also on probation to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and was charged accordingly with breaching that condition. He will be in Bail Court later this morning.

23 year old Ronald Hynds of no fixed address was arrested by City Police officers early this morning on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court on April 8th. The original charges for which Mr.Hynds failed to attend, were theft, possession of stolen property, operate a motor vehicle while being over the legal limit, resist arrest and breaching a probation order. He will be appearing in Bail Court as well.
