On November 7, 2014 at 3:30 p.m., officers attended Rome's Grocery Store on Great Northern Road, for a male shoplifter. 20-year-old Tyler Wright of Princeton Drive has been charged with theft under $5000.

On November 7, 2014 at 3:30 p.m., officers attended Rome's Grocery Store on Great Northern Road, for a male shoplifter. 20-year-old Tyler Wright of Princeton Drive has been charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged the accused stole items valued at $10.72. Tyler Wright is scheduled to appear in court on December 8, 2014 at 9 a.m.

25-year-old male Luke Ruicci of Lasalle Court has been arrested and charged with mischief. It is alleged that on the 8th of November, 2014 at 3:30 a.m. while in an intoxicated state the accused broke a window in the 700 block of Queen Street East. Luke Ruicci is scheduled to appear in court on December 8, 2014 at 9 a.m.

42-year-old Cindy Bishop and 35-year-old Rachelle Daynard both of Borron Avenue have been arrested and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged that on November 8, 2014 at 5 p.m. the two accused together took items worth $190 from Rome’s Grocery store on Great Northern Road. They were arrested by store security and subsequently handed over to police. Cindy Bishop and Rachelle Daynard are scheduled to appear in court on December 8, 2014 at 9 a.m.

On Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 8 p.m., patrol officers observed a grey Hyundai Santa Fe cross over the center line several times while travelling east on Bay Street. Officers stopped the vehicle at which time they detected an odor of alcohol on the driver and demanded he provide a sample of his breath into a roadside screening device. The male driver, 63-year-old Leon Chojnowski of Pim Street refused to provide a breath sample and was subsequently charged with refusal. Leon Chojnowski is scheduled to appear in court on December 8, 2014 at 9 a.m.

35-year-old Todd Olar of Letcher Street has been arrested and charged with theft under $5000. On Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:40 p.m., the accused was shopping at No Frills on Korah Road where he did purchase some groceries. However, it is alleged Mr. Olar had concealed $8.91 worth of meat on his person that he did not pay for. Todd Olar is scheduled to appear in court on December 15, 2014 at 9 a.m.

On Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 3:30 p.m., 57-year-old Luigi Trovarello of Lake Street is alleged to have been in No Frills on Korah Road where he concealed razor blades valued at $20.01 and attempted to leave the store without paying for them. As a result accused Luigi Trovarello has been charged with theft under $5000. Luigi Trovarello is scheduled to appear in court on December 15, 2014 at 9 a.m.
