YOUNG OFFENDER CHARGED WITH BREAK & ENTER
A 16-year-old female was arrested Yesterday morning and has been charged with one count of break and enter, one count of possession of stolen property, and two counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused (who cannot be identified) entered a home in the 100 block of St. Georges Avenue and stole a VCR, a cordless phone, and a carton of cigarettes. 19-year-old Darrell Saunders of 212 Albert East attempted to pawn the phone and was subsequently charged with possession of stolen property. Saunders will appear in court Dec 10 and the female has a court date of January 8.

29-year-old Edwin Talbu of 41 Edinburgh Street was arrested yesterday morning in connection with a break and enter to a home in the 900 block of Queen Street East. It is alleged that he kicked in a door and smashed a window. Talbu has been charged with break and enter, mischief, and breach of previous release conditions.
