On the 4 th November at approximately 12:15 am patrol officers were called to the parking lot of the Delta Hotel on St. Mary’s River Drive in regards to a person that was passed out in their vehicle.

On the 4th November at approximately 12:15 am patrol officers were called to the parking lot of the Delta Hotel on St. Mary’s River Drive in regards to a person that was passed out in their vehicle. Officers attended and located 31 year old Jeffrey Rinaldi  in the motor vehicle where he was arrested for Care and Control of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. A search of the accused also turned up a small amount of marihuana. At the police station the accused refused to provide a sample of his breath and was also charged with that offence. Mr.  Rinaldi is scheduled to appear in court on December the 9th.

Weekend Property Offences

Two break and enters were reported to Police over the weekend.

Friday night, Nov 1st between 4-9 pm an unknown person or persons entered a west end residence and took a laptop, two I-pods and a small amount of cash.

Sunday evening, Nov 3rd shortly before 8pm officers responded to an alarm call in the Manitou Park area and upon arrival found the residence had been entered. At the time of attending it appeared nothing had been taken from the residence.

Two vehicles were reported damaged over the weekend.

Friday afternoon, Nov 1st a vehicle was reported damaged in a parking lot in the downtown area.

A vehicle was also damaged in the 100 block of Cathcart Street Friday evening Nov 1st by having a window smashed.
