At 7:30 this morning Sault Ste. Marie Police received a report of a stolen vehicle. A resident in the 200 Block of Spadina Avenue reported that between 6:30 last night and 7:30 this morning her 2008 white Toyota Tacoma plate #AA66500 was stolen from her driveway.

A construction saw was stolen from a yard in the 700 block of Second Line East.

36 year old Patrick Woodcox of 819 Trunk Road unit 14 was arrested for break and enter with intent to commit an offence and possession of break in instruments. It is alleged that Mr. Woodcox was found in the fenced compound of Meakin Forest Products on McNabb Street and that he had recently discarded a bag containing bolt cutters and other tools. He will be appearing in bail court on October 15th.

A 28 year old male was arrested on a warrant for breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused was required to attend for counseling as a condition of a probation order stemming from a domestic violence charge. The accused will be appearing in bail court on October 15th.

Morning news

A 39 year old male was arrested by City Police officers overnight at a west end residence with regards to a domestic incident. It is alleged the male flipped over a bed that his common-law girlfriend was sleeping in and then he punched a hole in the wall. He will be appearing in Provincial Court November 20th.

A Break and Enter was reported to City Police overnight. A residence on Goulais Ave. was broken into and an X Box and money from a piggy bank was stolen.
