On October 5, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. 37-year-old John Lannigan of Wilding ave was arrested by City Police. It’s alleged that on September 20, 2015 ,the accused attended at a local gift shop and stole merchandise valued at $119. A short time later the clerk attempted to retrieve the merchandise and in her attempt was assaulted. The accused his been charged with theft under $5,000 and assault. He will be appearing in court on November 16, 2015.
On October 4, 2015, city police responded to a domestic related incident in the east end of the city. The victim in this case had contacted police and notified them that the accused male, age 26, was at her apartment. The accused is on two separate probation orders with court ordered conditions not to be within 20 meters of the victims place of residence, not to molest harass or physically interfere with the victim and keep the peace and be of good behavior. It is alleged that the accused was located by police at the victim’s residence and arrested and charged for breach of probation X 3. The accused will appear in bail court October 5, 2015 at 10 a.m.
