On September 1st, 2013 at 4:00 pm Police Officers arrested and charged Cody Quesnell, age 21 of No Fixed Address with several criminal offences. Officers observed Quesnell in the downtown area and knew there to be arrest warrants for Quesnell. Subsequently on the strength of these warrants, he was arrested and charged with Assault, two counts of Breach of Probation, Assault with a Weapon and Uttering Threats. He will appear in court on Sept. 3rd.
In the early morning hours of September 1st a 21 year old male using facebook threatened to harm his ex-girlfriend. The male has been charged with Uttering Threats and will appear in court on September 3rd.
On September 1st Police Officers were called to a hotel in the east end to remove an unwanted person. Officers located a 50 year old male would was intoxicated at the hotel. He was in the company of a female, who by a previous domestic related court order he was not to associate with. The male has been arrested and charged with breaching his court order and he will appear in court on Sept. 3rd
On September 1st at 9:15 pm Police Officers arrested and charged a 47 year old male with Breaching his Recognizance of Bail. The male, who had just been released from custody on the morning of the 1st for a domestic assault, was on court imposed conditions not to contact the victim of his assault. The victim advised police that the accused breaching this condition. The male will now appear in bail court on Sept. 3rd.
In two separate incidents from September 1, 2013 a 25 year old male and 52 year old male were arrested for Breach of the Peace. Officers found the 25 year old male to be intoxicated and wanting to fight his family members. In the second incident Police Officers attended a west end home where the 52 year old intoxicated male was in a domestic argument with his spouse. To prevent each of these incidents from escalating into a criminal offense, the offenders were taken into police custody to calm down and sober up.
