One person has been arrested after a break-in at a local business.
Sault Ste. Marie Police were called to the 0-100 block of Sackville Road at around 1:50 a.m. Monday.
Responding officers found a suspect in the parking lot, who they allege was in possession of stolen property.
Police believe the suspect was able to steal the property after jumping over a fence.
Michael Knox, 49, is charged with:
- Break and Enter – Commit Indictable Offence
- Theft Under $5,000
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
None of the allegations have been tested in court and the accused is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
