Around 9:30 a.m., Sault police responded to reports of gunfire in the 0-100 block of Pentagon Boulevard.
Upon arrival, the officers put several people under detention after they cleared a residence and garage in the area. The investigation found that no one was injured after a firearm was fired in the area.
One person has been arrested and charged with various firearm offences. Officers are no longer on scene, but the investigation is ongoing.
The investigation will continue after the officers have left the scene. More information will be provided in the near future.
