Officers from the Crime Suppression Unit and Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a 27-year-old on Friday in connection with a robbery from early January.
27-year-old Shayna Nadjiwon has been arrested and faces numerous charges, including robbery with a firearm, using a firearm while committing an offence, careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of ammunition for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, unlawfully in a dwelling, threatening death, aggravated assault, forcible confinement and breach of prohibition order.

On Aug. 14, 2020 officers with the Crime Suppression Unit and Drug Enforcement Unit arrested 27-year-old Shayna Nadjiwon for robbery with a firearm.
It’s alleged on or about July 1, 2020 the accused and another person entered a residence of a person known to them. The victim was unaware the two accused had entered the residence. The victim was assaulted, struck multiple times and threatened with a handgun.
Officers began an investigation into the incident and a warrant for her arrest was issued. Officers observed the accused in the 1000 block of Second Line West on Aug. 14, 2020. She was arrested without incident. The second person involved in the incident was arrested on July 14, 2020.
She is charged with robbery with a firearm, using a firearm while committing an offence, careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of ammunition for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a restricted weapon, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, unlawfully in a dwelling, threatening death, aggravated assault, forcible confinement and breach of prohibition order. She was held for bail court.
