A news release issued today by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service reports that 39-year-old Raven Schell and 39-year-old James Wilson were arrested and charged following a traffic stop early this morning.

Patrol Services stopped a vehicle at approximately 1:45 a.m. that had been reported stolen earlier this month.

Following a search, both accused were found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, the release states.

The two stand charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a controlled substance, and are scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 9.
