Drug warrant executed
On the 15th of December 2016 officers with the Criminal Investigations Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at an address in the West End of the city.
At the scene, 49-year-old Gerry Degregorio and 38-year-old Stephen O’Leary both of Wallace Terrace were arrested and the search was conducted.
As a result of the investigation, officers located;
- 179 grams of Marihuana with a street value of $1,790.00,
- 32.5 grams of Cannabis Resin with a street value of $650.00,
- 4.17 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine with a street value of $625.00,
- 375 ml of Methadone, and;
- $3,955.00 cash.
Mr. Degregorio has been charged with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on January 23, 2017.
Mr. O’Leary has been charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance. He will aslo appear in court on January 23, 2017.
