On April 24, 2015 at 7pm Sault Ste Marie Police attended a downtown address in regards to a domestic investigation. Information was received that on April 22, 2015 a 48 year old male accused assaulted his common law spouse by repeatedly pushing her.
On April 24, 2015 at 7pm Sault Ste Marie Police attended a downtown address in regards to a domestic investigation. Information was received that on April 22, 2015 a 48 year old male accused assaulted his common law spouse by repeatedly pushing her. Further on April 24, 2015 the accused again assaulted the victim by pushing her into a closet door and attempting to punch her in the head. The accused was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic assault. The accused will appear in W.A.S.H. court on April 25.
On April 24, 2015 at 7:30pm 56 year old Leta Hansen of Dennis St was arrested by Sault Ste Marie Police after she allegedly slapped a male victim in the face. Hansen has been charged with one count of assault and will appear in court on May 25.
On April 25, 2015 Sault Ste Marie Police attended at a west end residence in regards to a noise complaint. Through the course of the investigation officers identified a 52 year old male who was wanted on warrants in relation to a domestic incident. This male was also on a recognizance with conditions not to consume alcohol and to notify a change in his address both of which he breach. The accused was further charged with two counts of breaching his recognizance and arrested on the outstanding warrants for domestic assault, breach of recognizance, three counts of breach of probation and failing to attend court. The accused will appear in W.A.S.H. court on April 25.
