On the 11 August 2012 City Police responded to an erratic driver complaint in the downtown area. Police located the vehicle in a parking lot and the driver was spoken to at a local downtown tavern. The driver was found to be intoxicated and the police warned him to take a cab or get a ride home. In fact, the police called a cab for the man. The man waited until he thought police had left the area and got into his vehicle and attempted to drive away. Arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle, consuming over the legal limit and resisting arrest is Darren Duane Wilson (age 45). His vehicle was impounded and he will be appearing in court on September 10th, 2012.

On the 10th August 2012 police received a complaint regarding dated domestic assaults. As a result of the investigation three charges of assault were laid against an accused male. The allegations involve hair pulling, biting and choking the female complainant with a tie. The man will be appearing in bail court on Monday 13 August 2012 at 10:00 AM.
