Arrests
On August 15, 2014 an accused male age 23 was arrested by City Police for breaching a probation order. The conditions put on the accused were issued as a result of a domestic matter. The accused was not to communicate with the victim and did so twice on August 15, 2014. The accused was charged with breach of probation X 2 and will appear in WASH court (weekend and statutory holiday court) on August 16, 2014.
On August 15, 2014 City Police responded to a domestic related incident in the 700 block of McKenzie Street. Investigation revealed that an accused male age 29 assaulted and choked the victim. It is alleged that after a heated argument the accused pulled the victims hair, punched her and attempted to gain advantage by choking the victim. The accused will appear in WASH court on August 16, 2014.
On August 14, 2014 at approximately 11:00 pm the accused Pierrette Susie Owl age 41 of Albert Street East got into an altercation with the victim in the area of Albert Street East. It is alleged that the accused pushed the victim to the ground causing the victim to hit her face on the ground. The two continued to fight and finally separated and left the area. On August 16, 2014 the accused was arrest for assault. The accused will appear in court on September 22, 2014 at 09:00 am.
