At 8:44 p.m. on December 25, 2015 City Police arrested a 28-year-old male for domestic related assaults. It’s alleged that the accused assaulted his female partner by throwing her down and pulling her hair and pinning her down. During the course of the investigation, the victim further disclosed three other assaults that occurred in 2015. The accused was on a recognizance of bail at the time of the offence that he was breaching. The accused was charged with four counts of assault and three counts of breach of recognizance. He will be appearing in weekend bail court on December 26, 2015.
At 6:10 p.m. on December 25, 2015, City Police attended at Canadian Customs and arrested a 27-year-old male on three outstanding domestic related warrants. The male was wanted for failing to appear in court in January 2015 and breaching the terms of his recognizance. He will be appearing in weekend bail court on December 26, 2015.
