23-year-old Joshua Tadashore of Macdonald Ave. was arrested and charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol.

23-year-old Joshua Tadashore of Macdonald Ave. was arrested and charged with one count of operating a motor vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol. It is alleged that the accused was observed driving on Great Northern Road and when checked he exhibited signs of having consumed alcohol. Further investigation resulted in the charge being laid. The accused will appear in court on February 24.

A 14-year-old male was arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault. It is alleged that between the 1st of September and the 15th of December the accused sexually assaulted a younger male by rubbing his penis against him on several occasions. He will be appearing in court on February 18.

25-year-old Curtis St. Pierre of Charles Street was charged with one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged that on the 11th of January, the accused broke the glass in the doorway to an apartment building. He will be appearing in court on February 10.

A resident in the 100 block of Pine Street reported that a window in their car was smashed overnight.

A resident in the 500 block of Farewell Terrace reported that a wallet was stolen from their unlocked vehicle overnight. The wallet contained credit cards and identification.

On Friday Januray 10 at approximately 11:30 p.m. Police were called to the City Bus Terminal on Queen St. for an assault complaint. Investigation revealed that two males, age 16, asked another male for a cigarette when the male refused to give one two them they proceeded to assault the victim. They are both scheduled to appear in court on February 18, 2014

On January 11 at approximately 1:40 a.m. Police were called to Wilcox Ave for a vehicle that was stuck in the snowbank. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment of alcohol and was subsequently arrested for Impaired Driving. Charged with impaired driving and drive over 80 is 19-year-old Keith Twance of Clearview Drive. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 24, 2014.

Police arrested 24-year-old Jordan Porter of no fixed abode and charged him three counts of taxi fraud, and six counts of breach of probation. It is alleged on January 3, January 7 and January 11 the accused committed fraud when he took a taxi cab and failed to pay for the fare. The accused was on probation at the time with the conditions of being prohibited of being an occupant of a taxi cab and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He is scheduled to appear in WASH Court today.

A 42-year-old male was charged with two counts of sexual interference, one count of Invitation of Sexual touching to a victim under the age of 16 and one count of threatening. It is alleged on September 26, 2012 and on December 26, 2013 the accused committed the offences on the victim and also threatened to kill the accused if the victim told anybody. The name of the accused is not being released to protect the identity of the victim. The accused will be appearing in WASH court today.
