On the 11th July 2015, Sault Ste. Marie Police attended an east end residence with regards to a domestic complaint. Investigation revealed that a 23-year-old female had [allegedly] broken a back porch light at her estranged boyfriend’s residence. The accused was located and charged with one count of mischief. She will appear in court on August 12.
On July 10th, 2015 a shed on Brookfield Ave. was broken into and a red scooter worth $200 was stolen. A home on Morrison Ave was also broken into and a gold ring and silver watch were stolen.
On July 11, 2015 a garage on Wellington Street was broken into and an YZ85 dirt bike and meg welder were stolen.
On July 10 at 4:30 p.m., Police officers arrested and charged a 30-year-old male with possession of a controlled drug. It is alleged the male was in possession of Fentanyl. He will appear in bail court on July 13, 2015.
On the evening of July 10, 2015 Police detectives arrested and charged 28-year-old male with sexual assault and sexual interference with a person under the age of 16. It is alleged that in the fall of 2014 the accused committed these offences with a victim that was known to him. The accused will appear in court on August 10.
On July 11, 2015 at 2:50 a.m., patrol officers arrested and charged a 24-year-old male for breach of a conditional sentence order. Officers were acting on the strength of a warrant for his arrest. It is alleged the accused who was convicted of a previous domestic criminal offence failed to comply with his order. He will appear in court on July 11.
