On July 20th Police Officers attended at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and arrested and charged a 43 year old male with Break and Enter, Theft under $5,000.00 and Threatening Death. The male was in custody on a separate matter. It is alleged on June 1st the male accompanied by two co-accused persons, a young person and another adult, attended at a residence in the five hundred block of Cathcart St. and broke into it. The accused stole a variety of items from the victim including electronics and a wallet. The accused then threatened to kill the victim. He will appear in bail court on July 22nd.

On July 19, 2013 police attended the Station Mall at 293 Bay Street regarding theft of clothing and a purse. Mall Security had the accused Devin John Baynton, age 28 of 680 Portage Lane, Apartment #4 in custody. The accused was arrested for theft under $5000.00. The accused will appear in court on August 19, 2013 at 09:00. The items were returned to the store.
