On March 21, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie Police attended at Trunk Road near Lake Street for a motor vehicle accident. Both the driver and the passenger suffered facial injuries and were transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Officers noted that the accused appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result of the investigation 37-year-old Shannon Greco of Capp Avenue was arrested and charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm and drive a motor vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in blood. Greco will be attending court on April 20.
City Police and the Fire Department responded to a house fire on Huntington Park this morning. The fire caused extensive damage to the residence. The City Police are currently continuing their investigation into this.
On March 20, 2015 at 4:30 p.m. Patrol Officers arrested and charged a 51-year-old female with two counts breach of recognizance. The female was on a domestic related court order not to communicate or be with a person she was found with. She will appear in court on March 21.
On March 20, 2015 at 8:40 p.m. Patrol Officers arrested and charged Lindsay Perrault, age 31, of Wellington St East with two counts of assault and one count of mischief under $ 5,000. It is alleged that she damaged furniture at the Sault Area Hospital. Further she [allegedly] assaulted two persons. She will appear in court on March 21.
On March 20, 2015 at 9:10 p.m. Patrol Officers arrested and charged Michael Morningstar, age 28, of Goulais Ave. with breach of recognizance. It is alleged that he was consuming alcohol which was prohibited by a court order. He will appear in court on March 21.
