In the early morning of May 2, City Police officers attended to an east end residence regarding a disturbance. Police were able to determine that a female had broken two windows at that residence.

In the early morning of May 2, City Police officers attended to an east end residence regarding a disturbance. Police were able to determine that a female had broken two windows at that residence. She also provided officers with a different name to avoid possible charges. Upon further investigation, officers were able to determine the correct identity of the female and subsequently learned she was also on conditions not to consume alcohol, which in fact she was. As a result, 23-year-old Robyn Trudeau of Lorna Dr. was charged with mischief, obstruct police and breach of probation. She will be appearing in Provincial Court June 8.

18-year-old Jake Nicholson of Albert St. E. was charged by City Police today after an incident at Canadian Tire. It is alleged the accused left the store without paying for some merchandise but was apprehended by store security, who brought him back into their office to notify police at which time Nicholson fled the office but was again apprehended in the parking lot. As a result he was charged with theft and possession of stolen property as well as escape custody. He will be appearing in Provincial Court June 8.

On April 30, 2015 a 17-year-old young offender attended a local LCBO where he selected a bottle of liquor and fled from the store. Police were able to identify the male from video surveillance and located him on May 1. The accused has been charged with theft under $5,000 and will appear in court on June 2.
