A 51 year old male was arrested by City Police officers yesterday afternoon for breaching conditions of a Probation Order he was on as a result of a previous domestic incident. It is alleged he was in the company of a female known to him while he was on conditions not to be. He will be appearing in WASH Court later this morning.
Early this morning a vehicle struck another vehicle in the parking lot of McDonalds on Great Northern Rd. After leaving the parking lot the same vehicle narrowly missed hitting a Police cruiser at the intersection of Pine St. and Northern Ave. The Police Cruiser turned around and eventually performed a vehicle stop on McNabb St. near Pine St. At this time it was determined that the male driver was impaired and he was placed under arrest. 19 year old Jacob Davey of 60 Kerr Drive was charged with Impaired Driving and registering over the legal limit on the Intoxilyzer. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on December 1st.
