November 16 evening news An office in a building in the 200 block of Wilson Street was broken into between 6 p.m. on the 15th of November and 2 a.m. on the 16th of November. Pepperettes were reported stolen.

An office in a building in the 200 block of Wilson Street was broken into between 6 p.m. on the 15th of November and 2 a.m. on the 16th of November. Pepperettes were reported stolen.

An attempted break and enter was reported to a garage on Dell Avenue.

On November 15, 2013 at approximately 10:20 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a single motor vehicle in a ditch on Old Goulais Bay Road. Officers conducting the investigation noted the driver of that vehicle to be under the influence of alcohol. Investigation also revealed that the driver was prohibited from driving as a result of a previous impaired driving conviction. As a result of the investigation 22-year-old Johnathon Daynard of Hocking Street was arrested and charged with impaired driving, driving a vehicle with more that 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood (over 80), and driving while prohibited. He will be appearing in court December 23, 2013.

On November 16, 2013 at approximately 1:15 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance in the area of Boundary Road. Officers on scene located and arrested a young female, who was found to be heavily intoxicated, yelling and swearing. During the course of the arrest the accused resisted by pulling away from the officers and tossing a lit cigarette into the face of the arresting officer. While at the police services building the accused fought with and threatened to kill the arresting officers and caused mischief by breaking the glasses of the officer in charge. As a result the accused has been charged with assault police, resist arrest, mischief, causing a disturbance by being drunk and threatening. At the time of the incident, the accused was on an undertaking with conditions to abstain from consuming alcohol as well as on a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  She was also charged with breaching the conditions of those orders. She will be appearing in WASH court November 16, 2013.

Break and Enters:

A break and enter was reported to a garage in the 100 block of Meadow Park Crest.  Suspects entered through an unlocked man door.  At the time of the news release, it is not known if anything has been taken.
