On November 29, 2014 in the early morning hours, City Police responded to a call in the 100 block of Wellington Street West. Police located a female and a check was done.
On November 29, 2014 in the early morning hours, City Police responded to a call in the 100 block of Wellington Street West.  Police located a female and a check was done.  It was found that there was an outstanding warrant in place for breach of probation.  The accused Kelly Louise Hodgson age 29 was arrested and will appear in court on December 29, 2014 at 9:00 am.

On November 29, 2014 a male age 28 was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant.  The charges date back to September of 2013.  The accused will appear in court on December 29, 2014 at 09:00.

On November 28th police received a call in regards to a possible child abuse complaint. A joint investigation with the Children’s Aid Society revealed that a 3 year old boy was assaulted by his step mother causing bruising on the child. A 28 year old female was arrested and charged with one count of assault and will appear in court on December 29th

On the 17th of November police received an assault complaint at the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre. Investigation revealed that a male inmate was assaulted by two other inmates resulting in the victim receiving injuries that included a broken tooth and several bruises. 30 year old Michael Bjornaa and 38 year old Kerry Mearow were both charged with assault causing bodily harm. Both will appear in bail court on December 1.

City police were called to a residence in the city’s east end for a domestic dispute. Investigation resulted in a 54 year old male being charged with assault as he allegedly choked the female victim. A records check also revealed an outstanding warrant for failing to appear court on two theft under charges. He will be appearing in WASH court this morning.

A 33 year old male was arrested and charged with Breaching his Recognizance as he allegedly made contact with the victim when he was on release documents not to contact the victim. The victim in this case is a close relative of the accused. He will be appearing in WASH court in the morning.
