On the afternoon of October 10th the City Police received a call to attend the Rod and Gun club on Sixth Line regarding an unintentional discharge of a firearm. The initial investigation has revealed that a 16 year old boy was struck by a .
On the afternoon of October 10th the City Police received a call to attend the Rod and Gun club on Sixth Line regarding an unintentional discharge of a firearm. The initial investigation has revealed that a 16 year old boy was struck by a .22 calibre bullet. He was quickly stabilized and is being flown by air ambulance to Ottawa for further treatment. City Police detectives are currently continuing the investigation and further details will be released at a later time.
 
On October 10, 2015 at approximately 7:39 am City Police responded to a call in the west end of the city. Investigation revealed that the accused Linda Karchie, age 61 allegedly was banging on the door of the victim’s residence.  The accused is on an undertaking with conditions not to communicate with the victim, not to consume alcohol and not to harass, molest or annoy the victim.  It is alleged that police found the accused in an intoxicated state.  The accused was arrested for breach of undertaking X 3.  The accused is scheduled to appear in court on November 16, 2015 at 9:00 am.
