Sault man accused of stealing two vehicles

Police say the accused attempted to steal a third vehicle

Sault Police have arrested a 33-year-old man accused of stealing two vehicles, and attempting to steal a truck.

Police say the accused stole a car in the 300 block of Great Northern Rd. at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. According to police, he then stole $88 worth of items from a business in the 250 block of McNabb St.

Officers say the accused then attempted to steal a truck around 1:45 p.m. in the 600 block of Great Northern Rd., causing damage to the vehicle and stealing items from inside it.

Shortly after, officers report the accused stole a truck from another location in the same area, driving it down Great Northern. When he left the vehicle, police say he stole keys, a wallet, and a cell phone.

As a result, Abraham McMillan has been charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle, attempted theft of a motor vehicle, mischief under $5,000, three counts of theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

He was held for bail court.
