A school bus driver was charged with careless driving after the bus collided with a backhoe on Second Line yesterday morning.
The backhoe was in a marked construction zone near the intersection of Second Line West and Second Avenue.
The bus driver was taken to hospital as a precaution, police said in a news release. The backhoe operator was not injured.
