On May 3, 2017 officers with the Fraud Division of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested 48-year-old Robert Pozzo of Edinburgh Street for fraud related offences.

It is alleged that on Mar. 13, 2017 the accused used a stolen bank card twice to make purchases amounting to just under $500. The accused attempted to use the same card two more times unsuccessfully on that date. 

At the time of the alleged offence, the accused was bound by a probation order with a condition that he keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Officers arrested the accused on May 3, 2017. He was charged with one count of fraud and one count of breach of probation. He will appear in court on June 5, 2017.
