On April 7th, 2013 at 3:30 pm Caleb Seaton, age 22 of 99 Letcher St. entered a residence on Gore St. and confronted an adult male who was there. Seaton broke a jar on the male’s head and then threatened to harm him with a knife.

On April 7th, 2013 at 3:30 pm Caleb Seaton, age 22 of 99 Letcher St. entered a residence on Gore St. and confronted an adult male who was there. Seaton broke a jar on the male’s head and then threatened to harm him with a knife. Seaton then stole a small quantity of cash and a cell phone from the victim. Before leaving the home Seaton attempted to tie the victim up and threatened to kill him. The male victim received injuries that required treatment at the hospital. On April 14th Police Officers arrested and charged Seaton with Threatening Death, Robbery, Assault with a Weapon, Aggravated Assault and Forcible Confinement. He will appear in bail court on April 15th.

On April 14th Police Officers located Jessie Roach, age 22 of 59 Wolf St. Garden River Ontario on Frontenac St. Roach was wanted for breaching his probation. An arrest warrant had been issued for this offence. He was arrested on this warrant and will appear in court on May 22nd, 2013 to answer to the Breach of Probation charge.

Break and Enter in the 90 Block of Churchill Avenue. The door of the residence was kicked in and jewelry taken. The break and enter occurred between 8:45 am and 7:30 pm.

On April 14, 2013 at approximately 3:05am Chantale Fernand Morin, age 28 of 44 Grace Street was arrested for consuming over the legal limit while having care and control of a motor vehicle.  It is alleged that the accused went through a red light at Gore and Wellington Street and pulled into Macs Mart at 187 Gore Street.  A road side screening device was administered and a fail was registered. Further tests were completed at the city police station and the accused was found to be over the legal limit. The accused will appear in court on May 27, 2013 at 9:00am.
