Arrest: On August 23, 2014 it is alleged that a male entered Union Jack Breweries at 9 Queen Street East. After breaking into the business the male stole a beer keg and later attempted to return the empty beer keg to the Beer Store on Bruce Street.

On August 23, 2014 it is alleged that a male entered Union Jack Breweries at 9 Queen Street East.  After breaking into the business the male stole a beer keg and later attempted to return the empty beer keg to the Beer Store on Bruce Street.  The accused was located and arrested for break and enter and theft and possession of stolen property.  Further investigation revealed that the accused was on probation with a court ordered condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  The accused Troy Robert Bozowskyi age 25 Hwy 17 North, Goulais River, Ontario will appear in WASH court (weekend and statutory holiday court) on August 24, 2014.
 
Animal Control:
 
Two bears sited in the 1900 block of Peoples Road.  One large bear and a cub in the side yard of the residence.
