On December 7, 2014 at 10, a.m. Patrol Officers arrested and charged Tracey Badu, age 22 of Albert St., with theft under $5,000, breach of probation and failing to attend court. She was wanted for these offences on an arrest warrant.

On the 6th of December 2014 at approximately 11:12 a.m., Patrol and Traffic Services responded to a single motor vehicle accident on Trunk Road and Highway 17A. The investigation revealed a transport travelling south bound on Highway 17A failed to negotiate a right turn onto Highway 17B (Trunk Road). As a result, the transport travelled south through the intersection and off the roadway into the bush area. There were no injuries reported for the driver, the transport had severe damage. The highway was closed for a number of hours to remove the transport from the scene. The investigation continues, charges pending.

On the 6th of December 2014 at approximately 1:19 p.m. Patrol and Traffic Services responded to a snow machine accident in the area of Wallace Terrance and Allens Side Road. The investigation revealed the driver of the snow machine was travelling along a snow machine trial and lost control resulting in the driver being ejected and the snow machine striking a fixed object. The driver suffered minor non-life threatening injuries; the driver was taken to the Sault Area Hospital for medical treatment.  The accident resulted in moderate damage to the snow machine. The accident is still under investigation.

On the 6th of December 2014 at approximately 9:30 p.m. officers from Patrol Services attended a west end residence and arrested a 39-year-old male wanted on a domestic warrant. It is alleged the accused breached his recognizance by not keeping the peace and threatened his common-law partner to destroy her property on the 5th of December 2014. The accused is charged with two counts of breaching his recognizance and uttering a threat to destroy property. The accused will appear in Wash Court later this morning.
