Update to shooting investigation from February 8, 2014
Last evening, 36-year old Terrance Mingo of 142 Albert Street East - upper apartment succumbed to his injuries.
On the 8th of February 2014 at approximately 5:28 p.m., City Police received a 911 call to attend at 142 Albert Street East. Upon their arrival they located Mr. Mingo with life threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that Mr. Mingo had been shot in the head during an confrontation in his residence. On the 10th of February, Trevor George Seaton of no fixed address was arrested and taken into custody and charged with one count of attempt murder.
The investigation is ongoing.

A 16-year-old male youth is in custody and will appear in WASH (Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court) charged with uttering a threat to cause death and mischief. It is alleged that he destroyed the contents of the main floor of his residence including furniture and stair rails, and threatened the life of another female resident in the home.
