City Police officers attended to a residence on Borron Ave. earlier today regarding a female wanted on an outstanding warrant. 45-year-old Veronica Collins of Borron Ave.

City Police officers attended to a residence on Borron Ave. earlier today regarding a female wanted on an outstanding warrant. 45-year-old Veronica Collins of Borron Ave. was arrested for failing to appear court on January 5, 2015 from previous charges of theft and possession of stolen property from December 2014. She will be appearing in Bail Court on January 26.

A vehicle parked in the 100 block of Maple St. was entered sometime between January 23 and this morning. The interior of the vehicle was ransacked, the gear shift was damaged and the stereo was stolen.

On the 24th of January 2015 at approximately 7:23 p.m. officers from Patrol Services attended a downtown residence with regards to a family dispute. Investigation revealed that the individual police were dealing with had consumed alcohol and was on an Undertaking with a condition not to consume alcohol. Charged with breaching her undertaking issued by an Officer in Charge and breach of probation for not keeping the peace and being of good behaviour is 41-year-old Laura Williams of Wellington Street East Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She will appear in WASH Court later this morning, the 25th of January 2015.

On 25th of January 2015 at approximately 1:27 a.m. officers were conducting the RIDE Program in the area of McNabb and South Market Street. Officers had an occasion to stop a motor vehicle. The driver was recognized by the officers as being wanted by the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service for an outstanding warrant.  Further, the accused was on a Probation Order to notify change of address, the accused failed to do so. As a result, 55 year old Victor Murray Duffield of Wilcox Avenue Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was charged with breach of an undertaking issued by an Officer in Charge and breach of probation. The accused will appear in Court on the 2nd of March 2015.
