At 2:43 p.m. on June 11, 2016 city police arrested 42-year-old Christofer Llewellyn of Halifax, Nova Scotia. It’s alleged that the accused went through the primary lanes of Canada Customs on Huron street and was showing signs of impairment.

A residence in the 1500 block of Trunk Rd. was reported to Police from earlier this morning. A large screen T.V. and a watch were stolen.

At 2:43 p.m. on June 11, 2016 city police arrested 42-year-old Christofer Llewellyn of Halifax, Nova Scotia. It’s alleged that the accused went through the primary lanes of Canada Customs on Huron street and was showing signs of impairment. He was stopped and arrested by customs officers for impaired driving. The accused was turned over to city police. Llewellyn was transported to the City Police Station where he failed/refused to provide a breathe sample. Christofer Llewellyn has been charged with impaired operation and fail or refuse to provide samples. He will be appearing in court on July 18, 2016.

At 7:37 p.m. on June 11, 2016 city police arrested 53-year-old Gerald Allen Lewis of Wawa, Ontario. It’s alleged that the accused came through Canada customs on June 11, 2016 and it was discovered by customs officers that the accused was a prohibited driver. City police were notified and the accused was turned over to them. Lewis has been charged with drive while disqualified and will be appearing in court on 18th July, 2016.

At 1:50 a.m. on June 12, 2016 city police arrested 23-year-old Tara Swanson of Pim St. City police were called to a local hotel regarding some type of disturbance. During the course of the investigation it was determined that Swanson had an outstanding warrant of arrest for breaching the terms of her probation. She was arrested and charged with breach of probation. She was released and will be appearing in court on July 18, 2016.
