Several vehicles in the 100 block of Panoramic Drive and 100 block of Plummer Court were entered overnight. A total of $6 in change was taken.
On the 14th of March 2014 the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated a domestic assault complaint. Officers learned that a female victim had been assaulted by her 22 year old ex-boyfriend. The assault consisted of being punched and pushed. The victim did not require any medical attention. The accused turned himself in to police today and has been charged with assault and three counts of breach of probation. He will appear in bail court on Monday March 24th, 2014

A 38-year-old male was arrested last night and charged with assaulting his common law partner. It is alleged an argument between the two escalated to where the accused punched the female victim in the head and ribs. The male will be appearing in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) Court this morning.
In another domestic incident reported to City Police last night, a 44-year-old male was arrested for assault, breaching conditions of his recognizance and probation. It is alleged the male assaulted his female girlfriend by striking her in the face area. At the time of this incident the accused had been drinking, which he is on conditions not to be, and also he was not to communicate or associate with her. He will be appearing in WASH Court as well.
