Morning news At approximately 4:15 this afternoon Sault Ste. Marie Police responded to a report of a male lying in the grass in the area of 770 Great Northern Road repeatedly pulling his pants down.

At approximately 4:15 this afternoon Sault Ste. Marie Police responded to a report of a male lying in the grass in the area of 770 Great Northern Road repeatedly pulling his pants down.  Upon arrival police discovered 30 year old Lloyd Hicks of 129 Eagle Street in Garden River.  Some packages were discovered in close proximity to the accused that were found to contain approximately 74 grams of marijuana.  Mr. Hicks was charged with possession of narcotics and breach of probation and will be appearing in court on June 24th.

40 year old Roy Hamilton of 346 Albert Street West was arrested on a warrant for breach of probation.  It is alleged that Mr. Hamilton breached his probation by failing to report to his probation officer as directed.  Mr. Hamilton will be appearing in court on June 24th.

Police received a report of an incident involving bear spray in the yard of Parkland School.  It is reported that in the evening hours a group of males were in the yard when they were approached by another group of males.  One male from the second group sprayed the first group with the bear spray and the second group left the area.  The male who used the bear spray is described as approximately 17 to 18 years of age, 6 feet tall, blond hair wearing a dark red hoody and jeans.
