On the morning of 3 May 2015, a 45-year-old male and a female became involved in a verbal altercation while at a residence in the downtown core. The pair had previously been involved in a relationship. The male is currently bound by three separate probation orders regarding his ex-partner. As a result of the altercation, the male was charged with a total of nine counts of breach of probation and will appear in bail court Monday May 4, 2015 at 10 a.m.
On May 3, 2015 City Police observed a male and female together at the Station Mall. A check of the two individuals was done and it was found that the male was on probation not to communicate with the victim. The male, age 49, had been put on court ordered conditions because of domestic related matters. The accused was arrested for breach of probation x2 and will appear in bail court on May 4, 2015 at 10 a.m.
On May 2, 2015 at 10 p.m. Sault Ste Marie Police arrested a 42-year-old male in relation to a domestic incident involving his estranged common-law wife. The accused is currently on a recognizance of bail from earlier domestic charges with conditions not to communicate or harass the victim. It is alleged that the accused breached two of his conditions by communicating with the victim and becoming involved in a verbal argument. The accused has been charged with two counts of breach or recognizance and will appear in W.A.S.H. court on May 3.
