On November 10 at 11 a.m., police officers were called to a west end residence for a domestic dispute. Officers learned a 38-year-old had assaulted their common-in-law spouse. Minor injuries were sustained by the victim, which did not require medical attention. Officers further learned that the accused had assaulted the victim on two other occasions in June and September of 2013. Officers also learned that the accused had damaged several items in the residence. The accused which appear in court on November 12 charged with three counts of assault and one count of mischief.

On November 10, 2013 at 1:10 p.m., Ryan Young, age 20 of 406 Woodcroft St. Sault Ste. Marie, turned himself in at the Police Station. Young had failed to attend court on a disqualified driving charge. He was arrested and charged with failing to attend court. He will now appear in court on December 9 to answer to the charges.

51-year-old Joseph Gibbs was charged with one count of an assault. It is alleged that on November 9 the accused was a patient at the SAH when he assaulted an employee who was trying to assist him. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 6, 2014.

Police were called to McDonalds on Trunk Rd for a female driver that was in their drive-thru lane and was [allegedly] very intoxicated. Police attended and arrested 26-year-old Chantale Tournier of 367 Chambers Ave. She was charged with impaired driving and drive over 80mg of alcohol per 100 m/liters of blood. She is scheduled to appear in court on December 9.

Police received a call in regards to a domestic complaint at a hotel on Pim St. Investigation resulted in a 47-year-old male being charged with assault (x2) and threatening. He is being held for WASH court this morning.
