This morning police were called to a residence on Laura St. for a break and enter to a garage. Officers learned that sometime overnight theives entered the garage and stole two power drills.

This morning police were called to a residence on Laura St. for a break and enter to a garage. Officers learned that sometime overnight theives entered the garage and stole two power drills. One drill is decribed as a cordless model and the other is a plug in model.

Police were called to a local convenience store in the McNabb and Pine Street area regarding a female who was yelling at passersby and wanting to fight. Despite repeated warnings by attending officers to calm down she continued yelling and attempting to fight. As a result, 38 year old Vera Ann Shaganash of Sault Ste Marie was charged with being intoxicated in a public place and spent the remainder of the night in custody at the City Police Station.

City Police attended to the area of Wellington St. East and Kohler Street shortly after midnight regarding a 2 vehicle collision with injuries. 4 persons were taken to the Hospital with minor injuries. Officers are still investigating and there are no charges laid at this point. 62 year old Terry Wilson was arrested by City Police officers overnight for impaired driving and consuming over the legal limit. Mr. Wilson was involved in a single motor vehicle collision on Peoples Road where his car ended up in a ditch resulting in minor injuries to Wilson. He was transported to the Sault Area Hospital and will attend Provincial court on December 17th.
