A 24 year old female was arrested by City Police officers today and charged with assault with a weapon from a domestic incident on October 24th. It is alleged the accused attended to her ex common-laws residence and became involved in an argument which escalated to the point where she struck him in the face and head area with a crock pot and light fixture. She will be appearing in Provincial Court on November 25th.
On October 25th City Police attended to an east end residence in the early morning hours regarding a domestic dispute. It is alleged a male grabbed, pushed and wrestled with his common-law wife in their residence which resulted in the male being charged with one count of assault. He will be appearing in Provincial Court on November 25th.
On October 25, 2015 police attended a hill top residence for an investigation into a domestic incident. Investigation revealed that the 26-year old female accused has assaulted her 18-year old partner, confined her in an apartment, and broke a mirror. The accused also threaten to kill a friend of the victim. The accused has been charged with assault, forcible confinement, mischief, and threatening. The accused was held and will appear in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) court on Oct 25.
