On October 4, 2015 at 10:20 a.m. City Police arrested a 21-year-old female for domestic related offences. It’s alleged that the accused was with her boyfriend and assaulted him with two different weapons.

On October 4, 2015 at 10:20 a.m. City Police arrested a 21-year-old female for domestic related offences.  It’s alleged that the accused was with her boyfriend and assaulted him with two different weapons.  Further, after being arrested she assaulted and threatened a police officer and a health care worker.  Prior to being arrested, the accused impersonated a female not known to her.  She faces the following charges:  Two counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of breach of probation, two counts of threatening, one count of assault, one count of assault police and personation with intent to avoid arrest.  She will be appearing in bail court on October 05, 2015.

On October 4, 2015 at 1:45 p.m. City police arrested 24-year-old Donald Mark Bussineau of Queen St. West.  It’s alleged that he attended Canadian Tire and stole merchandise valued at $9.99.  He was charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of probation.  He will appear in Court on November 09, 2015

On October 3 City Police attended in the area of Grand Blvd. and Northern Ave regarding two [allegedly] intoxicated males. Officers were able to locate the two males, who appeared to be intoxicated as well as wet and muddy. Both males were wearing clothing and had items in their possession that did not seem to belong to them. A short time later, City Police received a call about a residence being broken into in the vicinity of where these two males were located. Further investigation led officers to believe that the two males were responsible for breaking into a residence in the 500 block of Morrison Dr. and had several items in their possession which were taken from that residence as well as items from a vehicle parked at another residence in the area. As a result, 21-year-old Michael Rivers of Cambridge Pl. and 20-year-old Alex Panco of no fixed address have both been charged with one count of break and enter and two counts each of theft and possession of stolen property. They will be appearing in WASH Court on October 4.

City Police were called to a residence on Woodward Ave. in the early evening of October 3 regarding a stabbing. The victim had already left the area on his own to attend to the hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released. Further investigation revealed that 45-year-old Leonard Solomon of Woodward Ave. allegedly stabbed the victim in the back with a steak knife. Mr. Solomon was arrested for assault with a weapon and will be appearing in WASH court on October 4.
