City Police were kept busy overnight answering a wide variety of calls, four of which resulted in domestic related charges being laid.
A 45 year old male was arrested for assault and breaching conditions of his probation after it was alleged he and his girlfriend were arguing when he grabbed her by the back of her neck and hair. At the time the accused was on conditions not to molest, harass or annoy her.
In the second incident, a 53 year old male was accused of putting a head lock on his common-law wife and threatened to throw her down the stairs. As a result, he was charged with assault and threatening.
The third domestic call involved a 35 year old male spitting in the face of his common-law girlfriend after they had been arguing as well. He was charged with one count of assault.
In the fourth domestic related call, it is alleged a 20 year old female, who had been drinking, slapped her boyfriend in the face multiple times and then bit him on the left and right thumb. She was subsequently arrested for assault.
All four persons will be appearing in WASH Court later this morning.
