Police responded to a business in the 200 block of Bay Street on Thursday, where a suspect had allegedly spit on security guards trying to retrieve stolen goods from the suspect.
The incident was reported around 3 p.m.
Officers arrested the suspect, who was already being held by security.
Krystal Breckenridge, 37, faces a charge of assault. They were released and are scheduled to be in court on Aug. 12.
